Another job on the list of things to do is picking up all of the stones in the pasture immediately out our backdoor. The former owner had some water lines run in different parts of the pasture and also added several hundred feet of new drain field too. All of the digging involved in that process unearthed lots of rocks. We hope to use our tractor and some type of 3 point attachment like a blade or box plow. First, we need to haul off all of the rocks on the surface. On this day, we got the whole family involved and began the long process. I'm keeping the rocks nearby as I'll use them for constructing a smoke house in the future.

I will be interested to see how the smoke house project goes. I am contemplating making one as well but haven't found the time with all the other projects that pop up around a farm.
