Summer Memories in Minnesota....

Summer memories continue......4th of July, Hannah and a pal doing some summer reading, visit with family and good friends Skip and Peggy.

More planting and a play in a Kansas City park with our friends the Williams.

Once again....catching up on posting pictures. Here it is, December and I haven't added photos since our BWCA trip in June. I'll start with some of the early summer photos with soccer, planting, and general photos. The neat thing about this year's planting season is that the kids did all the planting of corn and were a very big help in laying out and planting the garden. It was a dry summer but with regular watering, the corn was a success. This next summer, we really hope to focus more effort and attention on the vegetable garden. Our primary goal will be to actually can a winter's supply of veggies. :o) Now that we have a side of our own beef in the freezer, and with the canned goods, all that will remain is getting a milk cow. :o)

B.W.C.A 2011 - Hannah's First Trip

Skip and Brody were unable to join us this year, so it was just three of us Woolerys. Hannah joined Sam and I for her first ever Boundary Water experience. We went 10 miles in to Ensign Lake and spent the week there. We changed sites 3 times, caught 3 fish (see photos) and then headed back out at the end of our experience. We made some fantastic memories and are already looking forward to next year's trip. Now, if we can just figure out how to get mom to come along.....
